Integration: CAF (Advisor)
Advisory and Research Institution
CENTRAAL ADVIESDIENST FRUITTEELT
De Centrale Adviesdienst Fruitteelt (CAF) is an independent advisory body and knowledge center. We gather and share expertise in crop protection, soil and leaf analysis, fertilization, and cultivation techniques for large, stone, and small fruits.
We provide information and advice to fruit growers on crop protection, fertilization, and cultivation practices. Additionally, we inform about relevant laws and regulations and advise on above-legal residues and market requirements. Utilizing a large number of weather stations, we can link disease models to current weather data. This allows us to actively assist in disease and pest prevention.

When your advisor has access to your crop registration, they automatically have access to all the parameters that are important during the cultivation process. This enables them to provide even better and more efficient cultivation advice.
In short, with this integration, your advisor can more easily access all your crop data. By logging into your Agromanager account, they gain a better understanding of your business. Some of these benefits include:
- More insight into each individual crop
- More targeted farm visits
- Validation of treatments based on sprays
- Recording field observations
When you activate the connection with CAF, primarily data is shared with them. This enhances the value of their advice. Advisors at CAF have access to:
Crop
Where are your crops located? Which varieties are planted there? What is the planting system? Based on the cultivation data, the CAF advisor can provide much more targeted advice. Weather data from weather stations is also used to provide more precise recommendations.
Spraybook
When CAF has access to your spray log, they can determine how accurately advice is followed or any changes made by the grower compared to the advice. This allows growers to receive increasingly better advice tailored to their specific farming operations.
GPS
In the GPS module, all tree data is available. Tree data can be accessed by CAF to create a new task map. CAF can decide, in consultation with the grower, to approach a data provider to generate a new dataset.
